Summer is Coming!

Aloha Friend!

It’s been a minute since I checked in. 😜 We are wrapping up John’s assignment here in Hawaii and headed back to Phoenix in less than 2 days. Whew! What a whirlwind this has been. I wanted to send a quick email with an April Market update.

What's happening in the market?

• Now is the time to secure your summer assignments. Traditionally, job postings are lower over the summer but we’ve still got options

• A great strategy to get you through to the fall is to take a job and extend if you can.

• Average RN Rates for 36 hours a week are in the $1700-$2200 range with 48 hours making upwards of $2800-$3000 depending on specialty. There are of course outliers but these are typical.

• PCU, Medsurg, and Telemetry are still the most in demand and in some cases, highest paying, RN positions with OR, ER and ICU right behind them

• Toughest Specialties continue to be: Peds, NICU/PICU, Postpartum

• Currently seeing start dates through mid June.

What’s new with No Ordinary Path?

We are headed back to Phoenix for the summer (pray for us – the heat will be intense!!) But THEN, we are heading out in the RV again come September 1st! We have a little circuit planned which we’ll share as we get closer. Plus, we are excited to share that we’ll also be not only attending TravCon in Las Vegas, but speaking! We would love to see you there. Here is more information on the event and how you can purchase tickets. But even if you don’t attend the conference, there will be multiple events and even a No Ordinary Path sponsored event the weekend before the conference in Las Vegas and all are invited! Again, we’ll have more details coming.
