This cute campground at Hunnewell Lake in Northeast Missouri was a fun find. There are several sites to choose from but beware, this is a popular tent camping area. We did not feel comfortable running our generator as we didn't want to disturb the peace. But it was a nice big space that was able to accommodate our Toy Hauler, was free, and right next to a fishing lake. The best part? There were free fishing boats you could take out on the water. The kids loved it. We only stayed one night because it was very hot and humid and we wanted to freely run our generator to run our AC and cool down. If we were not parked right next to a family in their tent we probably would have run it as it is allowed until quiet hours. It just didn't feel right with them just a few feet from it.
